Welcome to Life Education Rotorua, where we empower local children with essential knowledge and skills for healthier lives. Our mission is to address the specific health and wellbeing needs of tamariki through a tailored programme covering identity, resilience, relationships, nutrition, human biology, and substance use.
Partnering closely with schools, we deliver customized lessons that align with curricula and cater to unique classroom needs. Our registered specialist educators are dedicated to fostering a holistic understanding of health, using best practices in education to engage and empower students.
In 2024, we aim to reach 70% of Tamariki aged 5-13 in Rotorua, visiting every primary and intermediate school and impacting approximately 4,700 children annually. Our approach, rooted in the Te Whare Tapa Whā model, addresses critical issues like bullying, online safety, nutrition, and stress management.
